COVID-19 Dental Practice Safety Guidelines

We are going above and beyond all recommendations, in the best interests of our patients and staff. We have obtained TWO medical grade Puradigm® air purifiers that have been tested and validated by Kansas State University and the University of California to inactivate COVID-19 virus as well as reduce airborne and surface contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mold and other pathogens (along with additional HEPA filters). In addition, we have invested in an advanced technology high volume intraoral evacuation suction system. As you can see, we are implementing the most advanced technology available. Even with technology and care, there is no way to guarantee 100% air purification, so you will also notice an advanced level of personal protective equipment (PPE) utilization by me, and my team. I promise it is still us underneath all those layers!

coronavirus update

All staff (including myself) and patients will be screened daily for any symptoms. Everyone’s temperature will be checked and a mask will be required (masks provided at the office).

This is going to be a transition for us all, and we ask for your understanding and patience during this time. We are ALL hoping this is a temporary protocol, at least until we have improved testing or have a vaccine.

We are closely following the American Dental Association‘s, OSHA, and CDC guidelines, as well as the State of Michigan’s suggestions of best practices for a safe work environment.
